Aktun Chac mool Cenote & Villa Guadalupe

Mexico off the beaten path

ABOUT THE tour

board our private car and set off to Villa Guadalupe to meet our local guide and explore the Alamo Cave. Be part of an ancient Mayan ceremony to be granted access to this mayan cenote. Once inside, the real adventure begins! We will rappel 15 meters down into a secret cave filled with amazing rock formations and plenty of surprises. Fully equipped we will descend into the Alamo, take pictures, and admire one of the most amazing caves of Riviera Maya where you will see with your own eyes the door to Xibalba – Mayans door to the underworld.
Then, we will head to Aktun Chacmool, crystal clear water cenote for a pleasant swim around one of the largest stalactites of the world!
After all the exploring is done, the locals of the town of Villa Guadalupe will meet us with our handmade and freshly cooked traditional meal just for us (vegetarian options available). And before we return, we will enjoy the view from a high wooden tower in Villa Guadalupe.
