Manchones Reef
2 dives – suitable for both beginners and open water divers – at 31ft/10mts
South of Isla Mujeres Manchones Reef is a very popular spot for the diving community. It has almost two miles in length. Marvelous and colorful corals are home to big Manta Rays, loggerhead turtles, dolphins, moray eels, and hundreds of tropical fishes. Some parts are shallow, perfect for beginners.
Wreck of the C-58, USS Harlequin

This former WWII US Navy minesweeper was bought by the Mexican Navy and then descended to the deep so it can become an artificial reef. Advanced divers can enjoy exploring this amazing shipwreck. The Ko’ox Team Members will advise on how to dive here if you are just an Open Water diver.

Cenote Zapote – Hell’s Bells: One of the hidden gems, reserved for divers mostly. It is one of the most beautifully decorated flooded caves in the area. The so-called Hell’s bells are a splendid view.
Cenote Eden: Great option for beginners, diving in this quiet and open cavern is a wonderful diving experience, even for non-cave certified divers. Prepare to get astonished by the light effects.

TajMa Ha Cenote: Located very close to Cancun Hotel Zone, one of the most beautifully decorated with stalactites, light effects and wonderful formations. People know this as “Taj Mahal” but it is a modified Taj MaHa due to -Ha- meaning water in the Mayan language. Good for beginners and Open water certified. A refresher dive is highly advisable.
Dos Ojos Cenote: Easy access, the most popular one, the most prestigious one. Take a look at it, literally, Dos Ojos means Two Eyes. If you are coming to Cancun for diving, the trip would not be complete without a visit to Dos Ojos. Big formations and spectacular light effects in crystal clear water.
