The Mexican Yucatan Peninsula is full of sinkholes formed during the last ice age. The earth in the south peninsula is made of limestone, which has collapsed and the cenotes were made. Once you get underwater you will see the spectacular formations of limestone, stalactites, and stalagmites formed thousands of years ago. Keep going down and realize how small we are, watch the effect of halocline (that appears when salty water from the ocean and freshwater are mixed, different densities of water make the water blurred) Diving in cenotes is a combination of experiences that will definitely blow your mind.
There are some cenotes close by like Eden, La ponderosa, Cenote Azul and let’s not forget that we can take you to the most famous ones: Casa Cenote, Dos Ojos, the Pit, or maybe try the Route of cenotes near Puerto Morelos.

We’ll help you choose the best cenote combination for you. For example, Casa Cenote or Dos ojos in Tulum, Playa del Carmen has Maravilla, Zapote and Ponderosa & many non crowded special dive spots for open water divers. Each of the cenotes has its unique beauty, this is certainly one of the best ways to explore the underwater wonders of Riviera Maya.
(Pick up times will be organized a day before, and schedules may vary slightly depending on dive sites)
