Cenote Chan Hol has been of interest to paleoanthropologists ever since the discovery of two prehistoric human fossils. Dos Pisos is one of the most remarkably decorated with cave formations on 2 floors. Cave diving certification is required.
Gran Cenote is one of the top dive spots in Tulum, part of the largest underwater cave system – Sac Actun. The Downstream line Cuzana Loop (a.k.a Cuzan Nah circuit) & Paso del Lagarto is one of the most beautifully decorated, full of speleoforms (stalactite, stalagmites, and columns)
Duration: 1 dive – 40 minutes of penetration and 40 min on the way back (can be more or less time depending of your experience)
